Disability Claims & PIP
“Since our firm was established in 2018, our tribunal success rate is 98% and we represent anywhere in the UK. Our clients have received on average £8,000 to £10,000 in backdated awards. Our fees are far below those of a high street law firm.
Our Senior disability specialist Mr. S. Khan is registered disabled and has a Legal background. He has as empathetic and excellent understanding of the disability benefits system, and legal framework. If your case is not a strong one, we can assist you to get the correct medical treatment and diagnosis through signposting and communicating with your GP, which in turn will drastically increase your chances of making a strong case in the future. Furthermore, as part of our service, we can lodge a complaint against your GP practice if we feel you are not receiving the appropriate level of care. Mr. Khan has advised numerous clients to request treatment for mental health as we find many people are not aware that they have a problem and what help is out there. such as talking therapies and psychiatric treatment. Depression and anxiety are termed "invisible disabilities" but are serious and debilitating illnesses which need to be treated. Some clients can have a successful claim with just mental health conditions.
We put ourselves in the shoes of the “Decision maker” and Tribunal judge and give them what they are looking for.
Process for making a claim is:
-
Screening interview where We will give you a score according to the descriptors (activities)
-
Look at your medical history and any ongoing treatment [if there are issues here, we will advise you]
-
Complete the claim with all supporting documentation
-
The process is not rocket science but can be a minefield for a new claimant.
Our tried and tested formula will get you the correct level of award.
In summary we use a simple but very effective method.
-
What are your health conditions and to what extent do they limit your ability to carry out your daily living and mobility activities?
-
Does your medical record and treatment(s) reflect the level of limitation you report? If not, we will advise you what to do about this.
-
For example, if we score you in the highest category known as the “enhanced rate” then your medical summary and level of treatment and medication need to reflect this.
The DWP has an unprecedented level of wrong decisions and a very high rate of Tribunal appeals being overturned by the judges, and for this reason we carry out a pre-claim screening. Whatever you scored at this stage, we are confident that we will achieve the correct award.
We prefer to get things right first time, but if the DWP disagree, we will pursue your case until you receive what you are entitled to. This can be a challenging and exhausting process sometimes, but we will take the stress out of the process for you. Even at the Tribunal appeal stage, we aim to have no more than 4-5 meetings with you to gather the relevant information and then you can leave the rest to us. On most occasions, persistence, and our expertise will guarantee you win.
